Carl Riggan (1891), Evert Riggan (1899) and Willie Riggan (1903) were the children of John Alvin Riggan (1868 - 1951) and Louella (Faulkner) Riggen (1871 - 1848). It appears that these children died at birth or as infants. According to the 1900 U.S. Census, John Riggan and Ella Riggan were living in Liberty Township, Hendricks County with their children, Ruth (1893 - ), Annie (1895- ), Chester (1897 - ), and Ralph (1898 - ). By 1920, according to the 1920 U.S. Census, the family had moved to Center Township, Marion County, Indianapolis, Indiana with John, Ella, and two sons, Chester and Ralph. By 1940, according to the 1940 U.S. Census, John and Ella moved back to Hendricks County and lived in Clay Township. |
