Ellen L. Smith and Howard William Robertson standing in front of Avon High School.Ellen L. Smith (1932 - ) was born to Harry Everett Smith (January 8, 1893 - May 17, 1938) and Vivian F. (Tansel) Smith (January 15, 1896 - May 1, 1973). Both parents are buried at Abner Creek Cemetery in Hendricks County, Indiana. Ellens siblings include: Raymond E. (January 6, 1930 - August 10, 1942), Myron F. Smith (January 25, 1934 - January 2, 1939), and Marvin A. Smith. According to the 1940 U.S. Census, Fillie Herring (housekeeper) was living with the family.Howard William Robertson (March 9, 1932 - ) was born to Arthur W. Robertson and Clara (Lambert) Robertson. According to the 1940 U.S. Census, Howard resided in Washington Township with his sibling Bruce Robertson. On June 25, 1953 he married Margaret Vivian Shipley. At the time of his marriage Howard was in the Navy. |
