This is a photograph of Sarah Ann (Larsh) Reed. She was born in Johnson County, Indiana on November 20, 1854 and married William Gladden Reed on October 9, 1873. To this union was born four children: Millie Frances Reed, William Everett Reed, Ada F. (Reed) Barker, and Lester Arlo Reed. They lived on farmland located north of US Highway 36 on Dan Jones Road (2012 location). They later sold this land and retired to Danville where William died in 1919. Sarah died on March 8, 1945. |
