SHERIFF FRED LUNZ

Pictured above is the trailer loaded with beer which was seized by Sheriff Fred Lunz and his deputies Monday morning about 10 oclock, when the trailer ran off the road and upset on the Maysville Road at Lunzs Corner. The trailer was righted and towed to the Allen County Jail where the picture was taken. Sheriff Lunz and his deputies just started to unload the beer and carry it into the jail when this picture was snapped. A search was made for the cabin part of the truck in all garages in and near Fort Wayne, but no truck has been found. The trailer broke loose from the truck. Regal Canadian beer valued at approximately $1000 was seized by the sheriff. The trailer carried Michigan license plates and an effort is being made to check the numbers.
