May 4: Cannot Sue: Linda Kay Sparkman who was sterlizied without her knowledge, cannot sue her mother and others for conspiracy because the judge who approved the operation is immune from legal action, the 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled. Mrs Sparkman, who was sterlizied in 1971, sits with her husband, Leon at their home in Kendallville Ind. AP Laserphoto, code number and year obscured.
