St. Mary - Magdalene Church

Description: St. Mary - Magdalene Church in Paris, France. Built by Napoleon as a temple for the glory of his armies, patterned after ancient Greek architecture. It was later converted into a place of worship by Louis XVIII and its central location in Paris and its majestic appearance has made it one of the famous churches of the world and the second largest church in Paris. The largest being Notre Dame Cathedral. Date 07/20/1952.
