Train wreck in Fort Wayne on the G. R. & I. railroad at the California Road (now coliseum blvd.) crossing. The engine of the passenger train struck a 26-ton earth mover owned by Daoust Construction Company from Defiance, Ohio. Three train men died and fourteen people were injured. Date 10/07/1947. |
