Fort Wayne Fireman Clarence Paddles Soest, hands out finger nail files during Fire Prevention Week, October 3rd to 9th in Fort Wayne. These were attractive being red, white and blue in color, a good grade of emory and bearing the inscription Its Rough To Have A Fire. There were 10,000 of these handed out by uniformed firemen. Photo is from a Fire Prevention Book made in 1948. |
