Description: |
This photo was part of a full page story on Dont get all burned up? that appeared in the News Sentinel Roto section during Fire Prevention Week, October 8 to 14, 1950. Car repairmen work under constant threat of fire. You can bet they work fast when an oil or gasoline fire breaks out. Dick Romary, using a foam-type extinguisher, effectively goes to work on such a blaze. John Lee (background) sure admires the speed with which Romary is spraying the blaze. Photo is from a Fire Prevention Book made in 1950. |
