Fatal plane crash at Smith Field Airport. Plane taking off slammed into a bean field. Mary Quinn 47 of 7555 Decatur Road was unable to escape. Her husband William, 45 the pilot and daughter Collette Schmidt 20 & her boy friend all escaped. Date 09/12/1977.
