Double drowning in Spy Run Creek at Franke Park. Lucas Weaver 8 year old son of Mr. & Mrs. John L. Weaver and Stephen Newman 11 year old son of Mr. & Mrs. Carey Glenn Newman drowned. Both families lived in apartments at 1712 East Wayne Street. Date 08/26/1973.
