Pumper No. 6 from Fire Station No. 6, 1401 Wells Street on the way to St. Joseph Hospital. On top of the hose bed was a women wrapped in blankets and a tarp. She was in labor and the snow was to deep for the cars to get around. The pumper was one of the twelve that were made by the Fort Wayne Fire Department Shop from 1938 to 1942. Earl Tracey was captain, Joseph Doak the driver, Donald A. Weber and Ralph Miller are on the tail board. Date 02/25/1965
